In a tragic turn of events, a four-story building in Hada’iq al-Qubba, Cairo, has collapsed, leading to the unfortunate death of four individuals and injuring six others. Rescue operations are in full swing as teams sift through the rubble searching for other possible victims.

The incident garnered immediate attention from security officials and Cairo governorate representatives who are supervising the search operations. In swift response to the disaster, civil protection rescue teams and heavy machinery were dispatched to the scene. Cairo’s emergency operations room received a distress call detailing the collapse of the four-story building on Tar’a al-Jabal Street, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Hada’iq al-Qubba police department. Reports of the injured and deceased soon followed.

The Cairo Public Prosecution has initiated an investigation into the tragic event. Preliminary inquiries highlight the collapse of the aged four-story structure. A committee from the Al-Khalifa district has been established to determine the causes of the collapse.
