Israeli occupation forces today arrested three Palestinians in the southern areas of Nablus and Jenin, located in the West Bank.
According to the Wafa news agency, Israeli troops raided the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, arresting a father and his son after storming their home and tampering with its contents.
A young man was also detained following an incursion into the town of Arraba, south of Jenin. This follows the Israeli forces’ arrest of two Palestinian brothers in western Jenin just a day prior.
The arrests add to the escalating tensions in the region, as the Israeli military continues its operations in the West Bank, often leading to clashes and confrontations with Palestinian residents.
Israeli forces are yet to release any statement or details regarding the reasons for these arrests. Meanwhile, the communities in southern Nablus and Jenin remain on high alert following these recent incidents.
