As per the reports from Sky News, a powerful explosion occurred late on Monday in the Hasselby region, a suburb of the capital, Stockholm. Following this tumultuous event, three individuals were hastily transported to the hospital. As of now, their medical status remains uncertain.
In the early hours of Tuesday, another explosion was reported in Linköping, approximately 175 kilometers to the southwest. The force of this explosion was such that it ripped through the facade of a three-story building, littering debris across the adjacent parking area.
Although it’s unclear if the two explosions are directly linked, preliminary investigations suggest that the latter explosion in Linköping might have ties to ongoing gang conflicts. Swedish radio has emphasized that the Linköping blast seems to be connected to an enduring dispute among criminal gangs in the area.
