The Gaza Health Ministry reported today, Thursday, that 20 people were killed and 155 others injured due to an Israeli strike targeting aid recipients at Kuwait Circle in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the ministry deemed the events at Kuwait Circle “indicative of the occupying forces’ sinister intentions to commit another horrendous massacre.”
The ministry anticipated an increase in the death toll “due to the severity of the injuries, some of which have been transferred to hospitals in Gaza.”
Eyewitnesses informed the Arab World News Agency today that more than ten Palestinians were killed in gunfire from an Israeli helicopter at Kuwait Circle in Gaza City.
Witnesses noted that the number is likely to rise due to the intensity of the gunfire and the large crowds waiting to receive aid in the area.
Palestinian television (Al-Aqsa) reported that approximately 30,000 people had gathered at Kuwait Circle awaiting aid distribution.
