More than 15 terrorists were killed and several others wounded in airstrikes conducted by the combined Syrian and Russian air forces.
These strikes specifically targeted the bases of armed terrorist groups in the Idlib countryside, one of which was used for modifying drones.
According to a Sputnik correspondent in the Idlib countryside, Syrian and Russian warplanes launched a series of airstrikes focused on the strongholds of the “Guardians of Religion” organization and “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” in the rural areas of Idlib province, located in northwest Syria.
The correspondent further reported that one of the “Guardians of Religion” organization’s bases in the Arab Said area on the western outskirts of the city was hit.
This base, used by the armed group as a workshop for altering drones, was destroyed, resulting in the death and injury of technicians and guards present.
Additionally, the warplanes targeted a military base belonging to “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham,” the front for the terrorist group “Jabhat al-Nusra” (banned in Russia and several other countries), located in the Bsankul town area in the southern part of Idlib’s Jabal al-Zawiya.
The strike came after surveillance spotted vehicles and armed individuals inside the targeted base, leading to at least 15 militants killed in the attack.
