YouTube TV is constantly testing new features, many of which never see a public release. One such feature that has been under testing for a considerable period is the ability to watch multiple content streams simultaneously.
Initially designed for sports programming, this feature, known as “Multiview,” is now being expanded by YouTube TV to include other types of content such as news and weather.
The platform recently announced enhancements to the Multiview feature to allow for greater customization options.
Starting this week, the feature, dubbed “Build your Multiview,” will be available to all subscribers of the NBA League Pass.
Since it is exclusively available to NBA League Pass subscribers, the feature limits users to pre-selected games only. With “Build your Multiview,” users can customize their viewing experience by selecting up to four games to watch on their screen at the same time.
Users will find the option “watch in Multiview,” which leads to the choice to “create your Multiview.” From there, subscribers can select from the available games to construct their personalized Multiview experience.
In addition to a YouTube TV subscription, users will need to pay an additional $14.99 per month to access the “Build your Multiview” feature, according to the website Phone Arena.
