The Yemeni Army has reported that Houthi rebels targeted its positions with artillery fire in the Jabal Habashi district of Taiz province.

According to the Yemeni News Agency, a military source stated that the Houthis launched seven artillery shells at army positions on Jabal al-Aweid al-Ahtoob in the Jabal Habashi area, fortunately resulting in no casualties.

The incident highlights the ongoing tensions and instability in the region, as the conflict between the Yemeni government forces and Houthi rebels continues to impact the lives of civilians and military personnel alike.

Last week, Hodeidah International Airport in western Yemen was targeted with five airstrikes.

This comes after the U.S. and British forces targeted the areas of Salif and Ras Isa in the Hodeidah governorate of western Yemen with airstrikes the previous day.

The Yemeni group “Ansar Allah” stated that it possesses a significant stockpile of strategic deterrent weapons, warning Washington against any escalation that threatens the security and stability of Yemen.
