The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 49 combat clashes along the front line with the Russian army across various conflict zones in the last 24 hours.
According to a statement released by the Ukrainian military and carried by the Ukrinform news agency, the Russian forces launched 23 missile attacks, 61 air strikes, and 41 MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) attacks against Ukrainian forces and various settlements.
The statement also detailed that an attempt by a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group to enter Ukrainian territory in the Sumy region was thwarted on Sunday. Additionally, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted air strikes on 10 Russian troops and weapon concentration areas.
Ukrainian forces executed missile strikes targeting several of Russia‘s positions, including two drone observation sites, an air defense system, an electronic warfare station, and an artillery system.
In the direction of Lyman, the Ukrainian army repelled three air-supported Russian attacks aimed at breaking through the Ukrainian defense. The statement noted that the Russian army fired artillery and mortar shells more than 10 times at settlements in the area.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian army countered seven Russian air attacks intended to improve the tactical position of Russian forces.
During the assault, more than 10 Ukrainian settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
Regarding the situation in Avdiivka, the statement mentioned that the Ukrainian army repelled nine Russian air attacks attempting to dislodge Ukrainian forces from their positions, accompanied by artillery shelling on about 20 settlements in the region.
In the Kherson direction, the statement highlighted that the Russian forces conducted two attacks on Ukrainian positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, where Russian artillery and mortar fire targeted more than 10 settlements.
