Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov asserted that the focus on the fighter jet alliance will be a priority for Kyiv at the forthcoming meeting in the Ramstein format.

Reznikov also highlighted that issues regarding the training of Ukrainian pilots, technicians, and engineers will be discussed.

He touched upon training pilots for the matter in addition to technicians and engineers who will participate in aircraft maintenance.

“We will discuss crucial issues with the defense ministries in the Netherlands, Denmark, the US, and other countries that have joined this alliance,” the minister indicated.

Moreover, Reznikov indicated that Kyiv would raise the topic of strengthening air defense, ammunition, and artillery at the meeting.

In the same vein, he voiced hope for the opening of factories to repair and equip machinery in Ukraine and bordering countries.

He emphasized: “The important issues for us are the opening of various factories for equipment repair. Whether on Ukrainian territory, with partners, or in friendly bordering countries.”
