British Defence Minister Grant Shapps announced today, Thursday, that the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Diamond is en route to join the British Operation Kipion in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.
According to a statement released on the official website of the British government, Shapps stated that this move strongly reflects the United Kingdom’s commitment to regional security.
