Humanitarian institutions in the UAE continue their efforts to provide aid to Palestinian brethren in the Gaza Strip as part of the “Operation Knight Assist 3” humanitarian initiative, ordered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to support the Palestinian people.

On Sunday, the initiative successfully delivered over 124,000 parcels containing food, health supplies, child and elderly care products, lighting lanterns, and blankets.

In detail, the distribution included 183 food parcels, 23 health parcels, food baskets for children, 1,040 pieces of heavy winter clothing, 3,402 parcels of underwear, and 38 winter blankets.

Additionally, 28 soup kitchens have produced 13,280 meals for 53,120 beneficiaries, and a single bakery in the subsidized bread project produced 250 bread bundles for 2,500 beneficiaries.

The UAE has also sent five automatic bakeries to the Egyptian city of El-Arish, preparing for their entry into the Gaza Strip. As of February 17, the total UAE humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people within “Operation Knight Assist 3” has reached over 15,700 tons.

The operation has involved the dispatch of 162 cargo planes and the establishment of six water desalination stations in Gaza, with a production capacity of 1.2 million gallons per day, directly benefiting the residents.
