The conversation took place during a meeting at the Basman Al Amir Palace in the Jordanian capital, Amman. King Abdullah II welcomed His Highness, considering Jordan his second home and expressed his belief that the visit would provide a strong impetus to the path of brotherly relations and joint work in various fields between the two countries.
The two parties discussed different aspects of cooperation, particularly in the economic field, investment partnerships, development, and other vital areas that serve efforts to achieve sustainable development and prosperity in both countries. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, affirming their desire to enhance joint work to achieve peace in the region, a principle deeply rooted in the policies of both countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reiterated that the UAE and Jordan share a common vision to achieve sustainable development for their people and establish peace, stability, and prosperity for all the peoples of the region. Both sides emphasized their keenness to continue coordination and consultation on issues of mutual interest, in pursuit of the interests of both countries, serving Arab causes, and enhancing regional security and stability.
King Abdullah II hosted a lunch in honor of His Highness and the accompanying delegation, symbolizing the warm and welcoming ties between the two nations. The luncheon served to further reinforce the strong diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, highlighting their shared commitment to a future of sustained growth and progress.
