The United Arab Emirates and Egypt have carried out the largest humanitarian airdrop operation in the northern Gaza Strip since its launch, delivering a total of 90 tons of aid.

The operation, dubbed “Operation Birds of Goodness,” was conducted jointly by the UAE Air Force and the Egyptian Air Force. It involved three aircraft that dropped food and relief supplies over buffer zones in the northern Gaza Strip that are difficult to reach.

The aid is part of the “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation, which was launched on November 5, 2023, at the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The operation aims to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, who have been affected by the ongoing conflict.
