The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, discussed fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries, and ways to develop them in all fields to achieve their aspirations for continued progress, sustainable development, and prosperity.
This was during the Egyptian President’s reception of the Head of State in the city of El Alamein, according to the Emirates News Agency.
The Presidents reviewed the paths of cooperation that continue to evolve qualitatively, especially in the vital developmental, economic, and investment fields, and the promising opportunities to expand its base to achieve the mutual interests of the two countries and their fraternal peoples.
The conversation also touched upon developments in regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, foremost of which are the developments witnessed by the Arab region and the challenges it faces, stressing in this context the importance of activating joint Arab action to ensure security, stability, peace, and development for the region and its peoples.
The Presidents affirmed their keenness to continue coordination and consultation on various issues in the face of common challenges witnessed by the region, which require strengthening cooperation and joint work to maintain its security and stability.
