In a ceremony chaired by Mounir Ben Rjiba, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Tunisia and Bahrain signed an agreement in Tunis on Friday morning. The accord entails the exchange of two parcels of land to facilitate the construction of new embassy headquarters for both nations.

The signing ceremony saw the participation of Hicham Bayoud, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, and Mouhamed Ali Bahzad, Undersecretary of the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs. Bahzad, who is on a working visit to Tunisia from April 24 to 27, engaged in bilateral discussions with senior ministry officials to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation, particularly in economic and investment domains.

The agreement signifies a step forward in the diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Bahrain, fostering closer ties and facilitating the establishment of modern embassy facilities for both countries.
