Babikir Hamdin, the acting Governor of Darfur and the Minister of Health and Social Care of the Darfur Regional Government, declared that Sudan, a nation known for its tolerance, peace, and rejection of extremism in all its forms, is currently facing the “greatest conspiracy” aimed at undermining its unity, sovereignty, looting its resources, and hindering its progress and prosperity.

In a statement marking the Eid al-Fitr holiday, Hamdin emphasized the collective responsibility of all Sudanese to build and defend the state against all dangers and plots at this critical juncture.

He urged the nation to unite and support the Sudanese Armed Forces with all their might to repel the brutal aggression the country faces. Hamdin called for a unified stance to protect the nation’s sovereignty, dignity, and supreme interests.

On this auspicious occasion, Hamdin extended an invitation to all citizens, including political, societal, religious, and community forces of various orientations, to align in a united front to confront all challenges, support the popular resistance, and back the Sudanese Armed Forces and other security forces in the battle for national dignity.

He extended Eid al-Fitr greetings to the armed forces, intelligence services, all mobilized individuals, and particularly the people of Sudan and Darfur.

Hamdin also addressed the harmful behaviors committed by some misled youth who have caused significant damage to the nation, its citizens, economy, and reputation.

He renewed a call for those youths fighting within rebel militia ranks to return to righteousness, renounce violence, terrorism, and vandalism that have harmed Sudan and its people, and destabilized the public peace.

He urged them not to fall for malicious propaganda intended to lure them into challenging the system and law for political gains aimed at destroying their country.

Hamdin expressed his hope that this Eid would be an opportunity for reconciliation, tolerance, and spreading peace and love throughout Sudan, rejecting hatred.

He prayed for the victory of the nation’s armed forces in the battle for dignity and the liberation of every inch of the homeland desecrated by militias, so that security and safety may return to Sudan and all Sudanese can return to their homes honored, safe, and victorious.
