Sudan Airways, known as “Sudanair,” has resumed its flights to Cairo, according to Khartoum International Airport.

Today, Saturday, a Sudan Airways plane landed at Port Sudan International Airport from Cairo International Airport.

Sudan Airways has announced its return to operate flights from Port Sudan International Airport to Cairo International Airport with two flights per week, on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Sudan Airways, also known as “Sudanair,” is the national flag carrier airline of Sudan. It has a long history of providing domestic and international flight services to and from Sudan.

The airline faced significant challenges in recent years, including economic difficulties, sanctions, and a lack of access to spare parts and maintenance due to the country’s political and economic situation.

This move is part of Sudan’s efforts to improve its international connectivity and strengthen ties with neighboring countries. It signifies a step towards normalizing relations between Sudan and Egypt and enhancing trade and people-to-people exchanges.
