Sheikh Zayed Festival Enters Guinness World Records with 4 New Records

The Sheikh Zayed Festival 2023-2024, held in the Al Wathba area of the capital, Abu Dhabi, has shattered four new records in the Guinness World Records.

This remarkable achievement was accomplished through the grandest and most massive fireworks display and drone shows that lasted for over 60 continuous minutes, celebrating the New Year’s Eve and welcoming the year 2024 amidst a global cultural and entertainment atmosphere.

The festival’s squares and sections witnessed an overwhelming and intense public turnout to participate in and enjoy the massive activities and shows presented by the festival to visitors.

It was a global cultural gathering that brought together citizens, residents, and tourists from all around the world to celebrate the new year together.

The grand fireworks displays, which lasted for 40 continuous minutes and set 3 new Guinness World Records in terms of quantity, duration, and design, provided visitors to the festival with an exhilarating and exceptional experience as the first minutes of the new year 2024 unfolded.

Additionally, over 5000 drones lit up the skies of Al Wathba with artistic displays and breathtaking shows to celebrate the new year, also setting a new record in the Guinness World Records for the largest aerial logo created by drones.

The Sheikh Zayed Festival has once again proven itself as a world-class event, showcasing the grandeur and innovation of Abu Dhabi.
