Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Mustafa held a phone call on Sunday with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, to discuss the ongoing situation in the Palestinian territories.
The discussions focused on the continuous genocide in Gaza and the Israeli aggression in the northern West Bank.
According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), Mustafa and Prince Faisal reviewed the outcomes of the recent meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh.
They emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between Palestine and Saudi Arabia to halt the Israeli military actions against the Palestinian people.
Prime Minister Mustafa highlighted Saudi Arabia’s significant role in supporting Palestine through its political efforts, particularly within the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee, which is chaired by Saudi Arabia.
This committee is working to garner greater international recognition for the State of Palestine, secure full membership in the United Nations, and advance Palestine’s diplomatic and legal efforts to end the Israeli occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
