Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, warmly received Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace today. The Crown Prince extended a heartfelt welcome to the Dutch Prime Minister, wishing him and his delegation a pleasant stay. In response, Prime Minister Rutte expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and warm reception received in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the longstanding friendship between Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands, exploring ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The reception was attended by prominent Saudi officials including Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar Al Saud, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, and the Saudi Ambassador to the Netherlands, Ziad Al-Attiyah. The Dutch side was represented by the Dutch Ambassador to the Kingdom, Janet Alberda, National Security Advisor Adrian Aiselshtein, Director for the Middle East and North Africa Marc Gerritsen, among other officials.
This high-level meeting underscores the commitment of Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands to strengthen their diplomatic ties and collaborative efforts, paving the way for future cooperation and mutual development.
