In the margins of his participation in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Al-Sadiq, met with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Waleed Al-Khuraiji.

During the meeting, both sides affirmed the strength of the bilateral relations and the importance of enhancing them to serve the interests of the two nations’ peoples.

The Acting Minister highlighted the latest developments in the country in light of the crimes and violations committed by the rebel Rapid Support Forces against civilians, public properties, and even diplomatic missions.

He also emphasized the violation of ceasefires and humanitarian agreements previously signed through the Jeddah platform.
On his part, the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated the Kingdom’s support for Sudan during this challenging period, affirming the continuation of diplomatic efforts to calm the situation and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected.
