Honorary President of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, held separate discussions with his counterparts from Egypt, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, and Djibouti.

The meetings, which were held in Tunisia, focused on strengthening existing security cooperation pathways and reviewing the agenda for the 41st session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

During these meetings, Prince Abdulaziz engaged with Egypt’s Interior Minister, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Palestine’s Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, Iraq’s Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari, Jordan’s Mazen Abdullah Al-Farrayeh, and Djibouti’s Saeed Nouh Hassan.

These discussions underscored the ongoing commitment among Arab nations to enhance regional security and collaboration.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi recently conveyed his warm greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, extending congratulations on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s “Foundation Day.”

The Kingdom has designated February 22 as a national holiday to commemorate this significant event.

The Foundation Day is celebrated with various events that highlight the kingdom’s rich culture and history.

Festivities include military parades, art exhibitions, and community competitions, creating a festive atmosphere that showcases the pride and heritage of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, asserted on Saturday that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is a “prerequisite” for diplomatic relations with Israel, as reported by Saudi Arabia’s El-Ihbariyye channel.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Bin Farhan outlined Saudi Arabia’s position on the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian issue.

He emphasized that a commitment from the United States and Israel to a two-state solution is the only secure way to address the regional problem.

Bin Farhan expressed concerns about Israel’s actions in Gaza, stating that they provoke the emotions of Arabs and Muslims, and warned that such actions would have repercussions for Israel in various aspects.
