Russia has confirmed the crash of one of its military cargo planes, an Ilyushin Il-76, shortly after takeoff on Tuesday, with 15 individuals on board. The incident reportedly occurred in the Ivanovo region, with news reports indicating no survivors.

Unverified videos circulating on Russian social media platforms show a plane engulfed in flames as it plummets to the ground. A thick plume of black smoke can be seen rising into the sky as a helicopter circles the scene.
