Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has expressed gratitude for the information provided by Tunisia regarding the situation in Libya.

He emphasized that both Russia and Tunisia support a political process in which all parties in Libya participate.

This statement came during a press conference held at the Carthage Palace on Thursday after he met with Tunisian President Kais Saied.

The Tunisian presidency reported that the meeting between the President and the Russian Minister discussed various regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The commitment to a political process that involves all Libyan parties is a significant step toward finding a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict in Libya.

Russia and Tunisia’s support for such a process reflects their dedication to stability and peace in the region.

It is worth noting that the situation in Libya has been marked by political and military tensions, with various factions vying for power and influence.
