The Russian Defense Ministry reported a missile strike conducted by the Russian Armed Forces against drone boat manufacturing and preparation facilities near the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

The ministry declared that foreign mercenaries were present at these facilities. All selected targets were successfully eliminated in the overnight operation.

The ministry also stated that Ukraine had tried to advance towards Donetsk, Krasny Liman, and Zaporozhye in the last day.

Russian forces reportedly thwarted 14 Ukrainian attacks in the direction of Donetsk, causing significant Ukrainian losses.

In the direction of Krasny Liman, six Ukrainian advances were successfully repelled, and three attempted advancements towards South Donetsk and Zaporozhye were also halted, with substantial losses reported.

The Ministry further noted that 28 Ukrainian drones were shot down in various regions. The Defense Ministry refuted Ukrainian and western media claims of damage to the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odessa due to a Russian strike.

They affirmed that the facilities targeted were a safe distance away from the cathedral complex.
