The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Sunday that the Ukrainian military incurred substantial losses in the Donetsk direction, including up to 165 service members, two armored combat vehicles, and a US-made M777 artillery system.

In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry outlined the day’s losses, specifying that the Ukrainian military lost 165 service members, two armored combat vehicles, and three pickup trucks in the Donetsk direction. Additionally, the US-made M777 artillery system was among the equipment lost by the Ukrainian forces.

The statement further detailed losses in other directions, indicating that Ukraine lost up to 170 service members, one tank, and two armored combat vehicles in the Kupyansk direction, and 40 soldiers in the Kherson direction over the past day.

In response to Ukrainian attacks, the Russian armed forces repulsed three Ukrainian attacks in the Krasny Liman direction, thwarted two Ukrainian attacks in the South Donetsk direction, resulting in more than 185 Ukrainian troops killed or injured in the area. In the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian army destroyed up to 30 Ukrainian service members and one US-made M119 howitzer. The Russian forces also reportedly destroyed a Ukrainian ammunition depot in the Kostyrka area.

The situation in the region remains highly volatile, with ongoing clashes and significant casualties on both sides as the conflict unfolds.
