Russian military officials have announced the capture of the town of Levadne in the Zaporizhzhia region and claimed the elimination of 1,575 Ukrainian soldiers within the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Defence in Moscow also reported the destruction of numerous tanks, armoured vehicles, and Western-supplied military equipment.

Amid ongoing hostilities, Russian forces say they have made significant advances in key areas, repelling multiple Ukrainian counterattacks and inflicting heavy losses on Kyiv’s troops. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, these operations have also led to the destruction of Ukrainian artillery systems and ammunition depots.

The conflict, which has seen the use of advanced Western weaponry on the Ukrainian side, continues to escalate, with Russian forces intensifying their efforts across several fronts, including the Donetsk and Kherson regions. Russian forces also claimed the downing of a French-guided bomb during the battles.
