Ukraine reported on Saturday that Russian forces carried out 156 airstrikes targeting 21 settlements within the region of “Zaporizhia” in the past 24 hours. Yuri Malashko, the head of the military administration for the area, disclosed this information.

According to Malashko, these attacks on several towns in Zaporizhia involved artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, and attack drones. He further stated that Russia conducted 17 drone strikes during the assault.

Among the towns subjected to the bombardment were Huliapole, Novodarivka, Sharivka, and Bilohiria. These attacks have resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure and raised concerns about the escalating conflict in the region.

As Ukraine continues to navigate its complex geopolitical position, the reinforcement from allies like Germany plays a vital role. The evolving scenario in Eastern Europe demands not only robust military preparedness but also international cooperation and dialogue to ensure lasting peace and regional stability. This latest move by Germany is a testament to this very commitment.
