Qatar has reportedly postponed some shipments to Europe due to the conflict in the Red Sea, leading to extended transit times, according to Bloomberg News.

The report cited informed traders who stated that Qatar had informed some European buyers of the delay and rescheduled shipments.

The report further noted that Qatar is adjusting and reorganizing global supplies to meet contractual commitments, diverting delivery operations from other locations, and swapping with available shipments closer to Europe.

According to data gathered by Bloomberg, Qatar has redirected at least six shipments bound for Europe via the Ras Al Rukhaim route since January 15, opting for a longer route instead of the shorter one through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.

The report highlighted that Qatar has not reduced its exports despite some shipments taking longer to reach their destinations.
