Israeli media reported Friday morning that Palestinian militants wounded 6 Israeli soldiers in a clash with occupation forces west of Ramallah in the West Bank. The clash followed an incident where militants opened fire on a bus carrying settlers near the area of “Deir Bzeih.”

According to Israel’s Channel 7, 6 soldiers were injured in the confrontation, with one soldier reported to be in critical condition.

The Israeli army radio stated that one or more gunmen fired shots at a settler bus in the area near the settlements of “Dolev” and “Talmon.”

Following the attack, Israeli forces deployed significant reinforcements to the area, conducting extensive search operations in the towns of Deir Bzeih and Kafr Na’ama, and preventing journalists from approaching. Israeli forces also utilized a helicopter in pursuit of the attackers.

The Israeli military surrounded an area between the towns of Kafr Na’ama and Deir Bzeih, where sounds of exchange of gunfire were heard.
