The Ministry of National Education is now faced with the challenge of compensating for lost educational hours. The federation emphasized that in some subjects, students haven’t received even a single lesson. With 12,000 schools affected, 250,000 teachers on strike, and 600 million lost instructional hours, the situation impacts approximately 7 million students. This dire state necessitates immediate intervention to restore stability and normalcy to public educational institutions, mirroring the continuity maintained by private schools.
