Two Malaysian Royal Air Force planes, carrying Palestinian patients and wounded individuals, landed at Subang Air Base on Friday.

According to the Malaysian news agency Bernama, the aircraft, both Airbus M-400A models, departed from Almaza Air Base in Egypt last night.

Upon arrival, all patients and wounded were transferred to a field hospital established at the Malaysian Air Base for medical examinations.

“We carried out this mission purely on humanitarian considerations, and to show our solidarity against what is happening to the people of Palestine,” Malaysian Defence Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin told a news conference after receiving the patients.

“It also shows our nation’s stand against this inhumane genocide.”

Nordin said the injured were selected after a “careful evaluation” to ensure they were fit for the 19-hour flight that made a stopover in Karachi, Pakistan.

The Egyptian Ambassador to Malaysia, Rajai Nasr, informed Bernama that the two planes transported 40 Palestinian wounded and 80 of their relatives from Almaza Air Base in Cairo to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday evening.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced on August 4 his intention to facilitate the transfer of Palestinian wounded to Malaysia for medical treatment.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 40,005, with the majority of the victims being children and women, since the onset of the Israeli occupation’s assault on October 7.

In a statement, the ministry added that the number of injuries has surged to 92,401 since the beginning of the aggression. Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble, according to the Palestinian news agency “WAFA.”

The ministry also reported that the Israeli forces committed three massacres against families in Gaza within the last 24 hours, resulting in 40 deaths and 107 injuries. Many victims remain buried under the debris, and emergency teams are struggling to reach them due to the ongoing bombings and dangerous conditions.

The Israeli occupation continues its intense and unprecedented offensive on Gaza by air, land, and sea, leaving thousands of dead and wounded, most of whom are children and women.
