Kuwait & Saudi Arabia Discuss Security Cooperation

Kuwait’s Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, met with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Interior, Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Batil, to discuss ways to strengthen the ongoing security cooperation between their respective ministries, as well as other mutual interests.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior reported that during his visit to Saudi Arabia, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah praised the brotherly relations between the two nations.

He expressed his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people. He also commended the successes achieved in combating crime in all its forms through the coordination and cooperation between the security agencies of the two brotherly countries.

The statement further mentioned that the Kuwaiti Undersecretary visited Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, King Fahd Security College, and the General Directorate of Border Guards.
