Jordan’s Ambassador to Egypt Amjad Adaileh has affirmed the depth of Jordanian-Egyptian relations during the tenure of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his counterpart King Abdullah II.
Adaileh highlighted that these relationships are experiencing significant growth and prosperity, thanks to the guidance and support of both political leaders.
He emphasized the increasing mutual visits between the two nations’ leaders and officials over the past year. These interactions demonstrate the shared commitment to continuous coordination, sharing perspectives, benefiting from mutual experiences, and transitioning to the practical execution of agreed-upon programs and bilateral agreements.
The two countries are keen on continuing the meetings of the joint high committee and various coordination committees at multiple levels and sectors, underlining the belief that collaboration and integration based on mutual competitive advantages are more effective in mitigating crisis impacts.
In line with the significance of the upcoming 31st session of the Jordanian-Egyptian High Committee, the ambassador announced that the meeting in Amman will delve into ways to enhance and develop cooperation across all sectors, with a keen emphasis on economic and trade avenues.
In the same vein, Adaileh pointed out that the Palestinian issue remains a pivotal and consistent focus in the foreign policies of both Jordan and Egypt.
He underlined the efforts both countries exert to serve the Palestinian cause, alleviate the challenges faced by their brethren in Palestinian territories and Gaza, and safeguard their legitimate rights, all while striving for a just and comprehensive peace based on Arab constants and international legitimacy.
