In a concerted effort to address severe shortages in the health sector in Gaza, the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) has dispatched two new planes loaded with essential medical supplies. This collaborative initiative involves the Jordanian Armed Forces, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Human Appeal organization, marking the 52nd aid plane sent to Gaza.
Under royal directives, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary General of JHCO, emphasized the commitment to alleviating the suffering of the people in Gaza, who face critical shortages of medical supplies and medicines. The aid planes delivered crucial medical materials and consumables through the Rafah crossing in Egypt, contributing to Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian efforts.
The combination of an “air bridge” and an existing “land bridge” for ground aid underscores Jordan’s dedication to providing much-needed assistance to the people of Gaza. Dr. Al-Shibli reiterated the organization’s commitment to delivering aid and encouraging cash donations through various channels to support ongoing relief efforts.
Jordan’s proactive stance and collaborative approach exemplify its unwavering commitment to addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and providing vital medical supplies to those facing challenging circumstances. The continuous efforts reflect the nation’s solidarity with the Palestinian people in their time of need.
