Iraqi factions, specifically the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, issued a statement early Friday declaring they had launched drone strikes on what they described as “vital” targets in the southern Israeli city of Eilat.
This follows a similar attack the group claimed on Thursday on a “vital target” in northern Israel. Meanwhile, the Israeli military reported that it had intercepted a drone approaching Israel over the Red Sea.
