The Gaza health ministry has released a staggering update on the human cost of Israel’s military offensive on the Gaza Strip, reporting that more than 33,091 Palestinians have been killed and 75,750 have been injured since the onslaught began on October 7.

The relentless assaults on Gaza have persisted for 182 days, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Within the past 24 hours alone, Gaza endured five strikes, resulting in 54 fatalities and 82 injuries among Palestinians.

This grim milestone brings the total death toll in Gaza to over 33,000, with 75,750 individuals suffering injuries as a result of Israel’s attacks since the offensive commenced in October. The ongoing violence continues to exact a devastating toll on the civilian population, with countless lives lost and many more shattered by injuries and trauma.

The Gaza health ministry’s statement serves as a stark reminder of the human suffering and loss endured by Palestinians amid the prolonged conflict. The international community continues to call for an end to the violence and a resolution to the underlying tensions fueling the cycle of bloodshed in the region.
