In the latest update from the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has surged to 27,238, as reported by the Hamas-run Health Ministry on Saturday.
Since the commencement of hostilities on October 7, 2023, a staggering 66,452 Palestinians have suffered injuries, according to a statement from ministry spokesperson Ashraf Al-Qedra.
Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli army, in its latest offensive, has killed 107 Palestinians and left 165 others wounded, Al-Qedra revealed.
Tragically, in the early hours of Saturday, Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments resulted in the deaths of at least 24 Palestinians, including women and children. The affected areas were the cities of Deir al-Balah and Rafah, as reported by the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.
