In a significant humanitarian gesture, France has welcomed the first two injured Palestinian children from Gaza for medical treatment, in line with President Emmanuel Macron’s commitments.

According to a joint statement from the French Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs, the two ministries are working together through the Crisis and Support Center of the Foreign Ministry and the French Embassy in Cairo.

They are coordinating to receive more injured or seriously ill Palestinian children starting next week.

France extended its gratitude to the Egyptian authorities for their assistance in facilitating the evacuation of the children.

This cooperation underscores the collaborative efforts in addressing humanitarian crises.

The joint statement also highlighted France’s deep concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The French government continues to exert maximum effort to aid the civilian population there.

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, during her recent visit to Israel, reiterated France’s call for a humanitarian truce.

This truce aims to lead to a permanent ceasefire, allowing the delivery of humanitarian aid and evacuation of the injured.

The French Health Minister emphasized the French healthcare system’s commitment to receiving children from Gaza in need of medical care.

This initiative is part of France’s broader commitment to humanitarian assistance and international solidarity.

This development reflects France’s active role in providing humanitarian aid and support to those affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

It also showcases the country’s dedication to fostering international cooperation in tackling global humanitarian challenges.

The story will continue to evolve as France receives more children requiring medical attention, highlighting the nation’s commitment to humanitarian principles.
