It is expected that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Algeria soon.

This was announced by the new Turkish Ambassador to Algeria, Mohammad Mujahid Kutcu Yilmaz, on Wednesday.

Yilmaz made this statement after presenting his credentials to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, where he emphasized the high level of official visits as evidence of the excellent bilateral relations.

“I will work during my tenure to enhance the bilateral relations between Algeria and Turkey, which are excellent to begin with,” he stated.

The Turkish ambassador pointed out that Algeria and Turkey have ideal friendly relations on the international level as two friendly countries.

He also expressed his commitment to continue in the same direction as the previous ambassador, which involves “elevating bilateral relations to a higher level.”

He added, “We closely follow Algeria’s economic developments and transformation with great appreciation, and we will be very pleased to contribute to the construction of the new Algeria through major infrastructure projects that can be accomplished by Turkish institutions.”
