Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the lack of humanitarian conscience and the international community’s silence on the crisis.

In a speech marking the anniversary of the “June 30 Revolution” on Sunday, El-Sisi stated, “It is no secret the dangerous changes the region has been experiencing recently.

The brutal Israeli war in Gaza has shown a complete absence of humanitarian conscience, with the international community turning a blind eye to the tens of thousands of innocent victims, displaced persons, and those in distress. Moreover, there have been malicious attempts to impose forced displacement towards Egyptian lands.”

El-Sisi highlighted Egypt’s noble and patriotic stance, saying, “Egypt did not remain silent in aiding our Palestinian brothers with all our strength and determination.”

He pointed out that “Egypt stood with dignity and honour against the efforts of forced displacement, making its voice heard clearly to protect its national security and prevent the liquidation of Palestinian rights.”

“We stand today on solid ground, as a country with strong institutions, enjoying security and stability in a turbulent regional environment,” El-Sisi continued.

He underscored that despite the challenges, Egypt is steadfast on the path of development and renaissance, with no turning back from achieving the Egyptian dream of progress and a dignified life for all citizens.

Addressing all Egyptians enduring the hardships and rising costs of living, El-Sisi said, “I fully understand the extent of the suffering. I assure you that my top priority and that of the new government is to alleviate this suffering, create more job opportunities, and build a better future for all the honourable people of Egypt.”
