Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has approved a presidential decree regarding the new diplomatic appointments.
The decree included the appointment of an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador for Egypt to the government of Slovakia, replacing Ambassador Saha Ghendi, who has been appointed as Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs.
It also encompasses the appointment of Aya Saad as Egypt’s ambassador to Myanmar and as an ambassador to Spain.
In the same vein, ambassadors to Pakistan, Singapore, Israel, Lebanon, Brazil, Bahrain, Iraq, and Australia, were appointed.
The diplomatic movement also incorporates the appointment of several consuls-general for Egypt in Chicago, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Jeddah, and Dubai.
Earlier this month, the Egyptian leader held a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour to discuss ways to boost the educational sector.
El-Sisi emphasized the pivotal role of the higher education sector. It plays a crucial part in strengthening the connection between Egypt’s youth, including students and recent graduates, and the rapid advancements observed in science, technology, and communications.
