Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced that Egypt has supplied more than 85% of the humanitarian aid received by Gaza since the onset of the latest hostilities. He made this statement during a panel discussion on the situation in Gaza at the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.

Madbouly highlighted Egypt’s role in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza from the first day of the conflict. He also noted that many Palestinians from Gaza have been treated in Egyptian hospitals, where they received necessary medical care.

“The repercussions of actions taken by Israel since October 7th are unbearable,” Madbouly added, emphasizing the severity of the situation.

Egypt’s contribution underscores its ongoing commitment to aiding the Palestinian cause and mitigating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
