Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya today, discussing the strong bilateral relations and regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause.
Egypt’s President Sisi praised Kuwait’s consistent support for Palestine, while the Kuwaiti minister conveyed the greetings of Emir Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and highlighted the success of the Emir’s recent visit to Egypt.
The talks focused on enhancing cooperation between Egypt and Kuwait, including advancing joint efforts through their bilateral committee.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of coordinated Arab efforts in addressing regional challenges.
President Sisi also reiterated Egypt’s ongoing efforts, in partnership with Qatar and the U.S., to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and facilitate humanitarian aid to its residents.
The Kuwaiti foreign minister praised Egypt’s pivotal role in promoting regional stability, and both sides agreed on the need for all parties to take responsibility in preventing further escalation and stopping the bloodshed.
