Egypt, in a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, firmly denounced the heinous terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi group against the duty force of Bahrain’s Defence Force.
This force is a part of the Arab coalition forces participating in “Operation Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope” on the southern borders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The tragic incident resulted in the martyrdom of an officer, a soldier, and several injuries while they were performing their national duties.
Egypt extended its sincere condolences to the Kingdom of Bahrain, both its leadership and people, and to the families of the victims of this grave calamity. The statement included prayers for the Almighty to embrace the martyrs with His infinite mercy, grant patience and solace to their families, and bestow a speedy recovery upon the injured.
Further emphasizing its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in the wake of this treacherous terrorist assault, Egypt highlighted the critical need for ongoing collaborative regional and international efforts to counter terrorism in all its forms.
The statement also urged the curbing of actions aimed at destabilizing the stability of fellow Arab countries.
