During a press conference on Thursday, Chinease Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian emphasized China’s opposition and condemnation of all acts harming civilians and violating international law.

Lin stressed that the current situation in the Gaza Strip is unsustainable and called for the immediate and effective implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The spokesperson highlighted the urgent need for a ceasefire, the protection of civilians, and access to humanitarian assistance, along with the early release of all captives.

Lin urged Israel to heed the international community’s call, stop its military actions promptly, and do everything possible to avoid innocent civilian casualties.
