Bahrain & Saudi Arabia Discuss Cooperation

Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfour, the Minister of Social Development of Bahrain, led a delegation consisting of several officials from the ministry on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The visit aimed to bolster collaborative efforts in developmental and social sectors, aligning with the aspirations of the leadership and people of the two brotherly nations.

During his visit, Al Asfour met with his Saudi counterpart, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia.

They discussed strategies to enhance collaboration in various fields and responsibilities overseen by the Social Development Ministry.

Additionally, they reviewed successful developmental practices aimed at accomplishing more innovative projects and ideas. The collaboration ensures combined efforts and optimal benefits from experiences and initiatives in this domain.

On this occasion, the Bahraini minister emphasized that the visit marks a significant addition to the trajectory of strengthening mutual cooperation between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

This builds upon the robust and unique relations grounded on shared visions and constants between the leadership and people of the two brotherly nations.

He pointed out that the meeting is in line with the ministry’s plans, aiming to advance its strategic collaborations and exchange experiences between the two countries in developmental fields under its purview. The goal is to support bilateral ties in serving mutual interests.

In terms of shared experiences between the two sides, a range of developmental and social topics of mutual interest were discussed.

This paves the way for new prospects and reviews the progress of Saudi Arabia’s significant initiatives and projects in the developmental sector.

Both countries also discussed procedures in the realm of community partnership between civil society organizations and various governmental entities, in addition to the national professional standards applied in supporting non-governmental organizations.
