Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmad Abul-Gheit met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Saturday to discuss regional and international issues, focusing on developments in Gaza, Sudan, and Libya.
The discussions also covered the global and European impacts of the ongoing situation in Ukraine, according to the Cairo-based league’s spokesman Jamal Rushdi.
Abul-Gheit praised the strong relations between the Arab world and Serbia, highlighting cooperation in political and economic areas and mechanisms for collaboration on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Serbian President Vucic expressed his appreciation for the Serbian-Arab ties and noted that his visit to the Arab League reflects his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral bonds.
