The DailyMail recently revealed the emergence of new AI-generated books on Amazon, containing slanderous content about the Royal Family.
These include fabricated narratives about the death of Diana, alleging it was an orchestrated act by MI6 and unfounded claims about Kate Middleton’s involvement with illegal substances.
This discovery follows previous reports by the newspaper about offensive AI-written books regarding King Charles‘s health, which had prompted Buckingham Palace to consider legal action.
Although Amazon removed those publications, the company has not disclosed any actions taken against the authors or further steps to prevent such incidents.
The latest findings by the MoS include AI-created books with derogatory content violating Amazon’s content policies.
These books, found alongside genuine biographies, feature baseless stories, such as one about Prince William that fabricates events from his time in Florence.
One of the books, titled “The Biography And Death Of Queen Elizabeth II,” published right after her passing, contains AI-generated falsehoods about her death.
After the MoS contacted Amazon, two of the books were taken down, yet the Prince William biography remained available.
Amazon stated that its content guidelines are designed to prevent listings that result in a negative customer experience, including AI-generated content.
The company asserts it employs both proactive and reactive strategies to assess content and has removed several titles that breached its guidelines.
Earlier this month, Buckingham Palace made a solemn announcement on Monday, revealing that King Charles III of Britain has been diagnosed with cancer.
King Charles had been undergoing treatment for benign prostate enlargement at the hospital recently, subsequent diagnostic tests revealed a form of cancer.
