Sergey Nikiforov, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian presidency, revealed that Sweden has adopted a strategy through which it will provide €500 million to Ukraine for infrastructure repair efforts in the aftermath of the conflict.

Nikiforov further conveyed to the Russian news agency Sputnik that alongside military support, Sweden has adopted a strategy to allocate half a billion euros for infrastructural repair in Ukraine over the span of several years, and private companies are also welcome to join the project.

According to Nikiforov, Sweden intends to transport water pumps to Ukraine, specifically to regions affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam.

It’s noteworthy that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Swedish Prime Minister Olaf Kristersson yesterday to discuss military cooperation between Stockholm and Kyiv.

Since the commencement of the Russian military operation on February 24th of the previous year, Ukraine has been receiving military, financial, and political support from Western nations.

The ongoing conflict has drawn international attention, and efforts to rebuild and stabilize the region remain a priority for multiple nations.
